Subject Overview:
Introduction to object oriented programming using C++; introduction to dynamic
data structures in C++; basic data structures and algorithms of computer
science and their implementation in C++ and an introduction to the Unix
environment.
Learning Outcomes
After completing CP1300, students will be able to- design and implement programs using objet oriented features of C++;
- implement basic data structres and algorithms of computer science in C++;
- write programs using pointers in C++;
- analyse the time complexity of simple algorithms;
- describe and implement programs that use common Application Programmer Interface features.
