CP2060 - Assignments

Assessment is divided into three components, (a) practical tasks, (b) major project and (c) examination.

(a) 30% - Practical Tasks

This assessment is comprised of 3 tasks based on tutorial activities and lecture content. An assessable task will be set in each of the weeks 3, 5 and 8. You have two weeks to complete each task and each task will be marked during your tutorial.

Task 1 - Modelling - 7.5% (2 weeks)

Task 2 - Animation - 12.5% (3 weeks)

Task 3 - Interactive OpenGL - 10% (2 weeks)

The second task has been extended for an extra week, with the weighting adjusted to reflect the extra effort.

(b) 45% - Major project

This assessment requires you to develop a graphics project primarily using the procedures and principles that are the content of this subject. This project is due in week 12.

It will involve creating Inspire 3D models and using them in an interactive OpenGL program.

The examination will test all the material presented in the lectures. No notes or books may be used in the examination.
