Illumination Models

The notes for these lectures were taken from the former CP2060 text by Foley & Van Dam et al - "Introduction to Computer Graphics", 1994.

The current text, by Hill, uses somewhat different conventions, but arrives at the same overall result - see chapter 8 - Rendering Faces for Visual Realism.

It is valid to see here the two different versions of the same material and to be able to equate them. (The Hill style is perhaps somewhat easier to follow (and to write)).
