Practical 1 (Week 2).
- If you are not enrolled in CP2060, you may not have the software you
need - see your tutor.
- Did you bring headphones? Go through the 3D Interactive Tutorial
that should be delivered to your applications. You should do this with
Inspire 3D running at the same time, so you can test what you learn.
- When you run it, just ignore the C:\Temp error message and Cancel
the Acrobat 3 installation. It will run just fine then. You can
skip the opening sequence by pressing a key.
You should go through the Modeler and Layout sessions (3D101 is not
available) in your own time as soon as possible (try and make it through
it all in the first 3 weeks.
Let Lindsay know any problems that you have.
- Once you have completed the tutorial, you should spend some time experimenting
with Inspire - Layout & Modeler.
- When you first run Inspire (Layout), please click on Options (at top)
and deselect "Auto Key Adjust".
- Try loading some of the pre-built scenes and objects and adjusting
them, then try creating some (simple) objects and animating them in
a scene all of your own.
- That should be enough for now...
